Boston Red Sox give me an early birthday present, Sign Mike Lowell to 3 year deal

Well they were a day early but the Sox gave me a present yesterday when they signed the league's best defensive 3rd baseman, Mike Lowell to a 3 year contract extension. Good news for Sox fans as Mike was crucial to the team winning the World Series this year.

Here's a picture of Mike during the 2007 World Series Victory Parade taken in Boston on Boylston Street.

Schilling Resigns with the Sox

Well after my last post I figured and the buzz around town was that Curt was going away. Instead he signs a deal worth $8 million with another $5 or so million in incentives.

This picture was taken during the victory parade on Boylston Street right in front of Shreve, Crump, and Low.

This is a different look than you get from most shots of this building. This is under the main arch out in front. Looking almost straight up. I chose this shot today as it's not far from Fenway Park where the Boston Red Sox are leading the Colorado Rockies two games to none in the 2007 World Series.
